About Marco

I am an engineer, working in South West London for an energy consultancy. I was born in Italy near Garda Lake and lived there for 28 years before moving to London in 2016. I started teaching Italian via Skype in March 2018 and I currently have 5-6 students. My students reached a confident level after 3-4 months and they could easily speak simple Italian during their holidays. Some of them are using Italian for work and some of them just for curiosity.

About the lesson

My students describe me as very friendly and humorous! I tend to share videos, tunes, photos, articles with my students and they like my style. I think that the best way to learn a language is not only through grammar and exercises, but also through entertainment! I also like sharing many things that involves Italian world. When I ask my students why they want to learn Italian, they often answer: "... because I'm fascinated by the sound and by the culture!"
