About Khatib Hassan

Hello! I am a Tanzanian native living in Abu Dhabi, passionate about teaching my mother tongue, Swahili, to the world.

Growing up in Tanzania where Swahili is spoken daily, I have a deep understanding of the language, culture, and traditions. Now in the UAE, I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and helping them connect with East African culture.

I am patient, friendly, and supportive. I believe anyone can learn Swahili with the right guidance. Teaching is my passion and I love seeing my students gain confidence to speak.

Outside teaching, I enjoy learning about different cultures and sharing mine.

About the lesson

I am a native Swahili speaker from Tanzania living in Abu Dhabi. My lessons are simple, practical and friendly, focused on real conversation, not just books.

I teach beginners, intermediate learners, and professionals who work with East Africans. I will help you with correct pronunciation, common phrases, grammar, and cultural understanding.

Lessons are personalized to your goal - whether for work, travel to Tanzania/Kenya/Zanzibar, or daily communication. I offer online lessons via Zoom or face-to-face in Abu Dhabi.
