I have traveled to Japan for work many times and still go there from time to time. I started taking lessons with Takara-sensei because I wanted to feel more confident with the language during my trips.

Her teaching style is so helpful and practical! Instead of just doing boring textbook exercises, she taught me the actual professional vocabulary and business manners I need when interacting with people in Japan. It made a huge difference for me.

Thanks to her amazing support, I even passed the JLPT N2 exam! Balancing work and studying wasn't easy, but Takara always kept me motivated and made the lessons fun.

She is a wonderful, encouraging teacher, and I highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their Japanese!

I started taking Japanese lessons with Takara-sensei in 2011 and studied with her until 2013. After a longer break, we resumed private lessons in 2021 and have continued until today (2026). What I appreciate most is how well she adapts her teaching to my level and goals. She helped me prepare intensively for the JLPT N3 exam, which I successfully passed thanks to her support and guidance. Takara-sensei is a patient, highly professional teacher with deep knowledge of Japanese language and culture. Her lessons are always engaging and well structured, and after many years of studying together, she has also become a trusted friend. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dedicated and motivating Japanese teacher.
