About Me
Hello! Having spent 22 years living, studying, and working in Germany, I offer my students a complete, authentic immersion into the German language and culture.
My journey with German began in primary school and carried through earning both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at German universities. Following my studies, I worked professionally in Germany for over five years, giving me a deep, firsthand understanding of both academic writing and corporate communication.
As a bicultural, near-native speaker, I understand the exact challenges language learners face when moving beyond textbook grammar. My goal as a tutor is to combine professional rigor with an encouraging, supportive environment—helping you gain the practical fluency, natural accent, and cultural confidence needed to thrive in any German-speaking setting.

Whether you are starting from scratch, moving abroad, or sharpening your business skills, my goal is to help you speak natural, confident German from day one. Having lived, studied (BA & MA), and worked in Germany for 22 years, I bridge the gap between textbook rules and real-world fluency.
My Approach & Typical Lesson Plan
I use an interactive, immersive method centered on active output and practical context. A typical 60-minute session includes:
Warm-Up (10 mins): Natural conversation to switch your brain into German.
Core Concept (20 mins): Introducing a practical topic, scenario, or grammar rule using real-world materials.
Interactive Practice (20 mins): Role-plays, discussions, and speaking exercises to build fluid recall.
Review & Takeaways (10 mins): Summary of new vocabulary, key corrections, and light practice for next time.
