About Keith

I am a Fashion and Textile Design Lecturer with 6 years of experience working within Higher education. Before working in education, I worked as a designer for over 6 years, working for a variety of different brands and luxury Groups. Please see below my qualification and previous industry experience. About the lesson

During your 1st free lesson we will discuss your learning goals and review any previous projects that you may have undertaken. This will create a baseline, giving me an understanding of your skill set and I can then develop a bespoke learning path for you. I can assign learners with projects, learning paths, briefs or step-by-step support to help you achieve your goals. I have 6 years of experience reviewing and interviewing UCAS applicants onto a BA (Hons) Fashion & Textile Design course. I have experience of teaching and delivering meaningful learning experiences using online platforms and can also offer in-person teaching within the Aberdeen area. My teaching philosophy is student-focused, promoting individualism, ownership, and accountability, enabling the learner to explore, develop and discover their own personal visual language within a supportive and inclusive environment.
