About Mercan
I have been peer tutoring many students/friends for the last three years of high school. I have significant experience in both peer tutoring and in high-performance exam/test preparation for standardized/school tests. My final scores for the courses/exams I took are AP Biology course 95/100, AP Biology Exam 5/5, Regular Biology course 97/100. I have been interested in the field of biology as long as I can remember and I am looking for a tutoring job to save up some money for college.

I send a survey to the person I am tutoring to understand their learning methodology. I form my tutoring sessions around that. I have many materials for different subjects so I like using those. I usually first show, then tell and finally make the person execute what they've learned. As a student myself, I've found this to be the most effective way of learning.
