¡Hola! My name is Rossana Smart (formerly De Alba). I am a native Spanish speaker from Mexico with over 15 years of experience working in education and business environments in the UK and Mexico. I have taught Spanish to students aged 13–18 in the UK, following both the AQA and Edexcel GCSE and A-Level curricula. I also have experience as a pastoral mentor and house resident at a UK boarding schools, so I understand how to support students not just academically, but pastorally as well. As a professional, I bring energy, clarity, and structure to every lesson. I offer fun, structured, and supportive online Spanish lessons tailored to each student’s needs. My Teaching Approach I enjoy creating a relaxed and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident to speak and make mistakes — because that’s how we learn! My lessons are interactive and conversation-based, with a strong emphasis on real-world usage, grammar support, pronunciation, and listening skills. For school-age learners, I align lessons with the Edexcel and AQA Spanish curriculum, helping with exam prep, oral practice, and coursework support.
