My approach as a tutor is grounded in clarity, structure, and adaptability. I aim to break down complex topics into clear, digestible segments, ensuring students grasp core concepts without feeling overwhelmed. I prioritize concise and focused lessons but remain flexible to provide deeper insights when students seek a more comprehensive understanding. A typical lesson begins with a brief review of foundational terms and concepts before exploring the topic in detail, using real-world examples and visual aids when helpful. For psychology, I begin with an introduction to key terminology, influential figures, major theories, ethical guidelines, and best practices. In neuroscience, I focus on brain anatomy, including major regions and their functions, neuroimaging techniques, and an overview of neurological disorders. What sets me apart is my ability to tailor lessons to each student's level and learning style, maintaining a balance between accessibility and academic rigor. These lessons are designed specifically for optimistic high school students in Grade 12 or first-year university students enrolled in general or introductory psychology programs who are eager to build a strong foundational understanding.
