About Nahum
I have a Master's degree in Composition for Screen from the Royal College of Music in the UK, and a Diploma in Piano Performance (DipABRSM). I also studied Audio Production at undergraduate level where I specialised in Post Production Audio for film and TV, and wrote my dissertation on influencing emotions and decisions through music composition. Prior to this, I studied at Chethams, the Purcell School, and (when I was VERY small!) Guildhall Juniors. In my career as a musician, I've always understood that the production-line method of one teacher having all 20 pupils undertake the same tasks day in and day out doesn't work. I put joy and passion into my teaching, and structure every lesson individually for each student. (And, of course, I'm fully DBS checked) See you soon! For composition lessons, the possibilities are endless. Whether you're an experienced composer seeking extra consulting on your works, a complete beginner to music who's always been fascinated by creativity, or anything in between, get in touch today. Join me as we explore conceptual composition, historical/period writing styles, orchestration, film scores, electro-acoustic projects, and so much more - the possibilities are far too numerous to list them all here! I recommend starting with 45-minute lessons to begin with. Then, if necessary, adjusting to suit the individual student.

Details
I charge £48.00/hr for tuition, and offer a reduced rate of £42.50/hr when block-booked by the half-term or full term. For in-person lessons, a travel fee of £6.00 applies outside of the immediate Bridport area.
