About Eftychia
Hello, everyone! My name is Eftychia (or Effie), which means “Happiness” in Greek. I am an educator, motivator, and lifelong learner with a Master’s Degree in Education and a passion for inspiring others to reach their full potential. Growing up in Greece, I dared to dream big, leaving my small country to study and work in New York. There, I taught at Greek-bilingual schools while studying at City University of New York. Now, I live on a beautiful Greek island, where I am pursuing a PhD in Digital Media and Communication at the Ionian University of Greece. Currently, I am the Head of Studies at a Greek-American nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Greek culture and education. My own journey has taught me the value of resilience, hard work, and believing in yourself and I bring that energy into my teaching. I love helping students not only learn Greek but also discover their inner strength, build confidence, and chase their dreams.
