About Alec
Prior to my career in the business side of the music industry, I was a professional singer for several years. Accepted to prestigious conservatories such as Berklee College of Music, I was a true voice primary. More notably, I was the lead singer in "Yessirnosir", a New York based progressive rock band. With Yessirnosir, I was able to tour America and learn about the inner workings of the industry from the artist perspective. This experience shaped the way I view the industry and the advice I give young aspiring artists as a mentor!

Hello! I am a graduate of the Music Technology program at New York University (B.M.) passionate about broadening the music industry through innovative thinking. Professionally, I am a Marketing Representative at Sony Music Entertainment and love mixing my professional knowledge with the technical training of the arts.
Over the last two years, I have been holding music lessons online to help beginners get into music in a fun way that is catered to their learning styles. In my lessons, I like to blend my love for music history and theory with contemporary real-world industry secrets I've learned through my career.
My goal is to benefit my students in any way I can. Whether that means helping them become more confident in their performances or developing their foundation in music production, I want to give the students resources to succeed in the incredibly complex music industry.
