About Catherine
I am a recent nursing graduate (2024) with experience working as a Community Registered Nurse.
Having recently completed nursing school myself, I understand how challenging and overwhelming nursing study can feel.
I am fully up to date with current nursing curricula, assessments, and clinical expectations, and I provide clear, supportive guidance to help students build confidence, understand difficult concepts, and succeed both academically and clinically.

As a recent New Zealand nursing graduate, I offer up to date, practical support. I understand current coursework, clinical expectations, and assessments, allowing me to provide relevant and effective guidance.
My teaching is student-centred and flexible, focused on building understanding, confidence, and clinical reasoning rather than rote memorisation. I support students with assignments, exam preparation, lecture content, and clinical placement preparation.
A typical lesson begins by identifying your goals, followed by breaking down complex content into clear, manageable concepts. Sessions are interactive and practical, using examples, practice questions, and scenarios relevant to NZ healthcare settings.
You’ll leave each session with clear next steps and study strategies you can apply. I know what works, what assessors are looking for, and how to help you succeed — not just pass at the top of the class, but to also feel confident as a future registered nurse.
