About Nikita

Having mentored high-school students for over 3 years, I have come to understand students of that age really well and what works for them in terms of tutoring / studying for courses. I know each student has the potential to excel in any given course, and I will just be the pushing factor you need to do well. You as students already have all the skills you need to succeed and I will show you this as your tutor.

About the lesson

I have loved working with students for years and still volunteer to mentor high-school students on weekends. In doing so, I have started teaching as well for subjects specific to Mathematics (including Algebra and Calculus) as well as Spanish and English. I work with each student individually to create a weekly and monthly plan to tackle the course, with major focus dates being mid-year exams, final exams and AP exams. I will set homework according to how well the lessons go, and will take the extra time to show you answers step-by-step. Going through incorrect answers together and coming up with ways to tackle them going forward is what sets apart my teaching regimen.

I mainly work with high school students from Grades 9-12. Open to working with students for beginner college courses as well.
