About Niamh

Hi, my name is Niamh. I am a Musician and Actor, based currently in London. I have been playing the flute since I was 6 years old, and fell in love the moment I picked it up. I hope to pass on this love and passion to as many people as I can.

I have been teaching for around 5 years, and enjoy every moment of the rewarding nature of the job. I teach a range of instruments including flute, alto saxophone, recorder, piano, singing and clarinet.

About the lesson

I have taught a range of students, in groups and as individuals. Working in a primary school, my style is encouraging and positive always.

I achieved my Grade 8 distinction flute at age 16, as well as my distinction Classical Singing. I have won multiple bursaries and been lucky enough to perform in-front of a variety of audiences. I have A levels in both Music and Drama, as well as English Literature, and am working towards my BA Actor-Musician degree at the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. I also obtained my Grade 5 music theory at age 12, and have extensive knowledge of theory, as well as Alexander Technique.

My lessons are targeted towards the individual- whether you are accomplished and working towards grades, or have never picked up an instrument before. I guarantee a fun, relaxed environment and a smiley face.
