About Giles

My name is Giles, and I am a graduate student at Northwestern University and an experienced boxing coach offering both online and in-person boxing training. My sessions are designed for beginners through advanced students who want to improve their boxing technique, fitness, confidence, and conditioning.

For online training, I provide live instruction that you can follow from home. We can work on the jab, cross, hooks, uppercuts, footwork, defense, head movement, shadowboxing, and boxing combinations. I demonstrate techniques, watch your movements, provide feedback, and build combinations appropriate for your experience level.

For in-person training, we can take the training further with pad work, boxing combinations, offensive and defensive drills, footwork, conditioning, and boxing-focused workouts. Sessions can combine technical instruction with challenging workouts to improve your speed, coordination, endurance, and overall fitness.

Whether you want to learn how to box, sharpen your jab and combinations, or simply get an excellent boxing workout, I will tailor each online or in-person session to your goals and fitness level. My goal is to provide structured, motivating training that helps you become more confident, disciplined, fit, and technically skilled.

About the lesson

My name is Giles, and as a graduate student at Northwestern University and a dedicated boxing coach, I bring discipline, structure, and focus to every session. I offer both online and in-person boxing lessons, with training tailored to each student’s experience, fitness level, and goals.

My coaching focuses on developing a strong jab, cross, hooks, uppercuts, stance, footwork, defense, head movement, and boxing combinations. For online lessons, I demonstrate techniques in real time, guide you through shadowboxing and combination drills, and provide feedback on your form and movement. In-person sessions can also incorporate pad work, defensive drills, combination work, and boxing conditioning.

A typical session begins with a dynamic warm-up before progressing into technique, shadowboxing, punching combinations, footwork, and a boxing-focused workout designed to improve endurance, speed, coordination, and overall fitness.

Whether you are training online from home or with me in person, my goal is to provide structured and motivating instruction. My lessons are ideal for beginners, fitness-focused clients, and experienced boxers who want to sharpen their jab, combinations, technique, conditioning, and overall boxing skills.
