About Brown

I’m a native Korean speaker with 5 years of experience teaching Korean to international learners. I also have experience teaching other subjects like maths in Korea. I’ve worked closely with foreign students as a Korean language helper during university, so I understand different learning styles and cultural backgrounds very well. My strength lies in in-person lessons, where I can build real connection, read each student’s pace, and adjust the class to match their needs. I’m friendly, passionate, and aim to make every class fun and motivating. Lessons are available both in person (London) and online. About the lesson

Class Structure & Study Plan 1. Consultation & Level Check Before we begin, we'll have a short consultation to check your Korean level and goals. Whether you're starting from Hangul or already have some experience, we’ll set a clear and personalised direction for your lessons. 2. Lesson Format In-person lessons are available within London. Recommended: 2 times per week Each session lasts around 1 hour. If you're comfortable with longer sessions, 2-hour lessons can lead to faster progress. 3. Study Focus Areas • Hangul & Foundations – Learn the Korean alphabet and basic structure from scratch. • Daily Conversation Practice – Talk about your day, hobbies, personal stories, and culture. Learn how to ask and answer common questions. • Essential Grammar for Speaking – Focus on grammar that’s commonly used and critical for clear, natural communication. You’ll learn how to avoid mistakes that may confuse native speakers. • Topic-Based Conversations (Intermediate+) – When you're ready, dive into topics like society, tech, health, and more — and express your opinions in Korean. 4. Class Language Policy Korean will be the main language used during lessons. English explanations will be provided when needed. Why? Because hearing and using Korean as much as possible is key to real improvement. 5. Study Support Outside of Class You’ll be guided to: • Review vocabulary and grammar • Practice speaking daily • Review lesson notes and preview next topics
