About Arianna

Hello and welcome to your new musical adventure! I've been making music since I can remember, and music has always been such a fundamental part of my life. I'm really passionate about accompanying people of all ages and walks of life in their musical journeys. What I love the most about teaching piano is helping my students discover and nurture their musical identities and express themselves freely through music. I started playing piano at the age of 5 and went on to study classical music, completing my 5th year exam at the Conservatorio di Bologna. But alongside that, I was always drawn to the music I heard around me — pop, rock, soul — and I began learning lots of music by ear, teaching myself to play the songs I loved and eventually writing my own. I am also a qualified music therapist, and I have experience teaching to students who are neurodivergent or have additional learning needs. I believe that learning music is for everyone, and I always aim to create a relaxed, encouraging space where you can be yourself and grow at your own pace. Whether your dream is playing songs fluently, accompanying yourself while you sing, or writing your own music from scratch, I’d love to help you get there in a way that feels natural and enjoyable. For me, teaching isn’t just about technique — it’s about creativity, connection and confidence. That’s what keeps me inspired, and what I hope to pass on in every lesson.

About the lesson

I offer relaxed, student-led piano lessons that centre around the music you actually enjoy. My approach blends technique with creativity — whether you want to focus on playing your favourite pop songs, learning cool chords, or writing your own music. I focus on ear training, rhythm, improvisation and songwriting, alongside foundational skills like reading chord charts and understanding basic theory — but always in a way that feels musical and inspiring. Lessons are usually 45 to 60 minutes, and they're tailored to suit your goals and interests. Whether you’re a complete beginner, a returning adult learner, or someone who wants to break free from sheet music and start playing more intuitively, I’ll meet you where you’re at. I have extensive experience with teaching any age and any levels up to Intermediates. I’ve been playing piano since the age of 5, and my musical journey started with classical training — I graduated with the 5th year exam at the Conservatory of Bologna over 13 years ago. Alongside that formal foundation, I’ve developed a strong ear and taught myself to play pop, rock and contemporary music by ear, learning through chords, improvisation and songwriting. This mix of classical roots and creative exploration shapes how I teach today.
