About Syd
I am an enthusiastic newly qualified teacher. I have been teaching PE, both practical and theory lessons to GCSE (13-16) and BTEC Level 3 Unit 3 (16-17).
My key interest and specialism is Applied Sport Psychology, which I studied at Liverpool John Moores University.

I have taught GCSE PE to Year 9 pupils on a 3 year GCSE Course at a School on the Wirral, the class had a wide range of ability and my teaching style including questioning and feedback was tailored to individual learners.
When teaching BTEC National Applied Sport Psychology Unit to pupils in L6 I used a teaching style that lead to self-discovery in order to develop their understanding. My interest in sport allowed me to use recent and relevant examples.
