About Jessica
My name is Jess, I am a 23 year old NQT in Secondary Modern Foreign Languages (French) with a degree in Modern Language studies and Politics. One of my greatest passions in life is languages; the way they are formed, the connections we can make and the way in which we are able to understand the world just that little bit more. I have been speaking French for nearly 17 years and have completed both an A Level and a degree in this area. Currently, I am teaching myself Spanish and German... you are never too old to learn!

I have just completed my training to become a Secondary Languages teacher and have found that my teaching is based on the importance of both retrieval and truly appreciating the language that you are studying.
It is impossible to become proficient in any language without understanding and appreciating elements of culture, also. My teaching style is based on the interleaving of culture, vocabulary and grammar as a means of creating a brilliant linguist as well as an altogether more rounded individual.
I am offering lessons KS2-KS5, with an emphasis on oral spontaneity and conversation practice for 16+. I would recommend 1 hour long lessons to begin with, with a free 30 minute assessment of your level before booking a regular slot.
JULY-AUGUST - I will be running one off GCSE = A Level transition classes to help ease the jump from KS4 to KS5.
