About Bayal
When it comes to teaching I believe students are never a blank slate. Every student has a learning style, strengths, weaknesses, comfortability, and familiarity with the material. I've tutored middle school to high school students, at a learning institute called Sam Singapore Math. The experience and their approach taught me about the importance of learning style and building rapport with a student. I've tutored students with dyslexia and ADHD, and know the importance of changing teaching style based on a respective student. The response I had was amazing, with students having no familiarity with the material whatsoever, and then in a few months' time being highly proficient and gaining good grades.

When it comes to teaching, I assess students' knowledge regarding the subject matter, and build from that point on. A typical lesson plan would include a prior assessment of students' strengths and weaknesses, knowledge regarding the subject matter, any learning impediments, then we'd continue step by step. Would tutor from middle school to university level.
