About Arghavan

I am an English teacher and Nursery School Teacher. National Diploma: Education in South Africa. Including Educational Psychology, Day Care Communication, Education, Entrepreneurship and Business Management and Educare Didactics: Theory and Practical. I studied ESL in a Queensborough Community College of the City University of New York. Completed the 120 Hour Advanced TEFL/TESOL Course and am an Accredited Course Graduate. The qualification is focused on teaching English as a foreign language to non-native learners. Completed the Play Sense Working Masterclass: Collaborative Early Intervention: Working with Neuro-diverse populations in the Classroom. This qualification enables the teacher to identify and refer toddlers who require therapeutic intervention including how to communicate with parents and healthcare professionals to address the concerns in a positive, proactive manner, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Cerebral Palsy and Sensory Difficulties. I have strong relationships with my students and show that I am warm, accessible, enthusiastic and caring. These qualities are known to stay after school and make myself available to students and parents who need me. Thanks to All!

About the lesson

I get to know my student first. I always set a target or a goal. I make the lesson interactive by using props and telling stories. I am mindful of body language and play with the tone of my voice. I reward my student and play games.
