About Angelia

I am a dedicated Registered Nurse with six years of clinical experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Throughout my career, I have worked across a wide range of acute-care settings, including medical-surgical, telemetry, oncology, orthopedics, emergency department holds, and PCU/stepdown ICU. I also hold NIH Stroke Scale certification, equipping me to perform accurate neurological assessments and support timely stroke care. For the past four years, I have worked as a travel nurse, responding to disaster and crisis situations in diverse healthcare environments. This experience has strengthened my adaptability, clinical judgment, and ability to care for patients from varied backgrounds while navigating different hospital systems, protocols, and acuity levels. Over the last year, I have transitioned into the role of a nursing instructor, teaching in didactic classrooms, skills labs, and clinical settings. In this role, I help students break down complex concepts, develop clinical reasoning, and gain confidence in both hands-on skills and real-world decision-making. I understand the challenges students face because I have been both at the bedside and at the front of the classroom. My passion lies in helping nursing students succeed. I support students with nursing test-taking strategies, including how to analyze NCLEX-style questions, identify priority cues, eliminate distractors, apply safety and delegation principles, and think like the test writer. I also assist with dosage calculations, care plans, concept mapping, and exam preparation. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence needed to excel in nursing school and approach your board exams feeling prepared, capable, and supported.

About the lesson

I offer lessons tailored for students in ADN and BSN programs. I start by assessing your current standing in class to determine your learning pace and style, allowing us to adapt our approach as needed. What sets me apart is my focus on mastering the basics while also embracing new knowledge. I’ll guide you on what you can “brain dump” versus what’s essential to remember for board exams. With the overwhelming amount of information to absorb, it’s natural not to retain everything, and I'm here to help you navigate that process effectively.
