About Kasey

Hello, my name is Kasey, I have graduated from doing an access to nursing, health and social care foundation degree and I am now doing a paediatric nursing degree. I’m looking to help those who would like support with essay writing, exam preparation, university applications, helpful skills to use in university (e.g. time management) as well as CV writing and interview preparation. I also offer tutoring for anyone studying biology from GCSE upwards. And anyone who may be studying health and social care foundation degree or similar. I have experience in tutoring, and have always received good reviews as my students’ experience and progress is so important to me. My background is in healthcare, as a healthcare assistant, support worker and senior support worker. I am currently pregnant so will not be back in uni until next year. Therefore I have more availability and flexibility around my tutoring hours so can arrange lessons at a time to suit you! Please get in touch if you are interested, I provide the first 1 hour meeting free of charge to discuss your needs and any questions you may have. The free session can only be held over videocall or by phone, not in person.

About the lesson

My teaching method is led by the students' needs, and is dependent on the level of study and the students' preferences. We can discuss this and your learning style in the initial meeting, your first hour is free. One way of teaching would be by starting from basics and reinforcing your knowledge with questions and answers and creating diagrams and flow charts.

I have done a lot of sessions with Sumaya and she has made so much progress. She is motivated to do well and happy to do work in between sessions to help her achieve her goals. She is also very good at communicating with me about areas she would like to improve as well as when arranging sessions. She is a very had working lady and has a supportive family who help to encourage and motivate her to do well. I find it very enjoyable tutoring Sumaya and rewarding seeing her progress and I look forward to more sessions in the future.
