About Victoria

ABOUT ME
I am a recent graduate from New York University with a degree in International Business and a concentration in Sustainable Development. I know the importance of being a good communicator and I am genuinely passionate about teaching and helping others. What makes my teaching method stand out is my ability to adjust the lessons to my students’ individual needs and learning style. As your tutor/mentor, you can expect me to always be kind and committed to helping you achieve your goals. Personality-wise, I am friendly, calm, and extremely motivated. MY TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I fell in love with teaching back in high school, through community service and volunteer work. I got the chance to teach art, drawing, and reading to young children from a day care center. I also participated in a program at my school, where I got to teach English as a second language to teenagers from underpriveiledged communities. In addition to that, I tutored students from my own school and later univeristy, who were taking classes that I had previously excelled at. Finally, I helped some students with their college application essays, which contributed to them entering top-tier universities.

About the lesson

I am a graduate from NYU with a strong academic and professional background. I have a plethora of skills and strategies that have enabled me to excel in school and university. I have a profound and extensive experience with the art of studying, self-learning, teaching, and writing. This has been demanded of me all my life, from junior high all the way through college. The ability to learn, teach, and write is a vital skill for life and success, regardless of one’s specific goals or career. I base my classes on this philosophy, and approach each topic by listening carefully to my student’s needs and doubts, gathering precise information, and explaining with clarity. I like to structure classes from a step-by-step basis, from general overview of a given topic, to specific details and clarifications. I like to keep classes structured, but flexible and interesting. I do this by preparing key points to be discussed beforehand, but adapt the lesson to any other subjects or questions that may arise during each session. I will challenge my students to be better and do better, and results are guaranteed. I will keep you accountable, motivated and engaged.
