About Taylor
I began my musical journey in middle school and attended Henderson County High School. I was 1st chair in any honors band I participated in. I have been playing oboe for almost 8 years now. I am currently studying Music Education at the University of Evansville Music Conservatory and I love what I do! My current oboe Professor is Dr. Elizabeth Robertson. In high school I was given lessons by Dr. Edwin Lacy. I am currently participating in the University of Evansville Orchestra, University of Evansville Wind Ensemble, The Universities Percussion Ensemble and as well as the Universities Pep Band! So I can also help with any percussion stuff.

I have a passion for oboe and teaching!
I specialize in teaching oboe technique, oboe fundamentals, quality of sound, proper posture/embouchure, and learning and assigned repertoire.
I am able to teach total beginner oboists to advanced oboists. I can work around your schedule and whatever works for you!
I highly recommend and believe in teaching through method books! I can also help students with upcoming auditions, All-State, Solo Ensemble, and more!!!
I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge of the oboe with you and to have fun during our lesson!!!
