About Xiangyu
My name is Michelle. I am a student studying Biological and Biomedical Science in Trinity College. I am also a musician and pianist. I’m passionate about sharing my musical knowledge and helping students develop both their skills and confidence. I adapt my teaching to each student’s level and goals, making lessons both engaging and effective.

I focus on building a strong foundation in musical skills while keeping lessons engaging and interactive. My teaching methodology combines structured guidance, practical exercises, listening activities, sight-reading, and composing tasks, tailored to each student’s needs.
Typical Lesson Length: Minimum 1 hour
Qualifications/Experience: Received formal musical training since age 4; completed Grade 8 Piano; H1 in Music in Leaving Certificate; experienced in helping students prepare for school music exams
Suitable For: Secondary school students preparing for Junior Cycle or Leaving Certificate Music, as well as younger children looking to develop practical music skills
