About Charons
Spending my late nights on the festival circuit taught me more about breath and tone than any textbook ever could. You might notice that I approach singing as an extension of speaking, which makes the whole process feel much less intimidating. I work with teens and grade exam candidates who want to move past the basics of pitch control and diction. My experience includes helping singers find their unique genre styling, whether they prefer pop, classical, or musical theater.
I often find that the most talented singers are those who just need to get out of their own way. You can expect me to keep things grounded and practical during our time together.

I treat every session as a blank slate based on your current vocal health and mood. Singing is an athletic activity that requires specific warm-ups to remain consistent. We spend our time on breathing control and belting technique to ensure you feel secure in your range.
I also provide recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to keep your voice in shape between our meetings. Sight singing is a core part of our work to help you read music with more accuracy.
We will also focus on microphone technique so you feel ready to perform in any setting. Practice remains the secret to your progress. It would be great to hear what you are working on lately.
