About Emily
I have achieved a Master of Art degree in Contemporary British History at King’s College London with Distinction.
Prior to this, I completed a Master of Art degree in Modern History and English at the University of St Andrews.
I currently work in public affairs in Westminster, London.
I achieved 5 A Levels (A-A*) in English Literature and Language, History, Politics, Psychology and General Studies.
I love playing hockey, music and art. I am friendly and easy to talk to.

My teaching methodology is largely discussion based in order to generate and develop ideas. I believe this to be one of the best approaches to English, as it will allow us to discuss themes, plots and context in greater depth, and to enable the student to develop a more comprehensive understanding of the literature and the author.
