About Akinlawon
I'm a Music minister skilled in at least 8 different genres of music namely: Rock, Highlife, Pop, Rap, Jazz, Fuji, Reggae and Nigerian Local music. Infact, one of my skills is I'm an Avatar; precisely, i'm song bender; you might not understand what this means till I show you&when I do, you'd definitely appreciate it. My duty is to get you to sing in a manner that would be appreciated by all. Flavour and Orisafemi are singers but they don't sing the same way; yet they are well recognized. Similarly Tasha Cobbs and Chioma Jesus don't sing the same way but they are well known and their ministrations are impactful; their voices are unique. like these, You also have a unique voice; let me help you sharpen and shapen it to the gold it is.

1. Understand your Voice
2. Simple Voice techniques to improve power and range
3. Understand the four part pillars: Soprano, Treble, Alto, Tenor
4. Food pills you should try to improve your voice
5. Test1-Work on this song(Beginner)
6. Test2-Work on this Song(Amateur)
7. Test3-Work on this Song(Intermediate)
8. Test4-Work on this Song(Advanced)
9. Test5-Work on this song (Expert)
10. Test6-Final Assignment
11. The missing piece
12. Exam.
By the time you get to 11, you would be confident enough to sing for an audition and make it through. However, for you to get here will require some commitment from your part but rest assured it will be fun so whenever you're ready like I am, let's start.

About the lesson

My teaching method consists of three types:
1. Lectures(10%)
2. Listening to music(40%)
3. Singing (50%)
Tools you must have:
1. Earphone/Earpiece/Earbuds or any device that allows you to listen by putting it into your ear
2. An internet connected device
3. A prepared mind and a can-do attitude.
You will be taken as if you don't know anything about being a lead or back up singer but as you are tested, I would determine whether to fast track some courses for you or not.
All in all, it will be a fun learning experience and I will not stop working on you till I am satisfied that you are studio ready.
You can also choose to test me at the beginning of our lectures and if you're convinced I've got what it takes to teach you then we proceed.
