About Kasey
I've been employed at my college as the peer content tutor for Russian language learning for two consecutive years and am pursuing a minor in Russian and Eastern European studies. Russian is often a difficult language, but it can be exciting to an equal if not greater degree when taught correctly and learned with an open mind. As someone who has been passionately pursuing Russian for the better part of a decade, I would love to help you find the joy, beauty, and intellectual enrichment that comes with learning this language!

Having taken three years of Russian at the college level and four years of Russian at the high school level, I am willing to work with students of all levels. Contact me and we'll work out the topic you're struggling with, and I'll prepare practice questions and explanations to help you better understand the key concepts.
I am also open to conversational meetings, which would essentially be sessions where we met and talked about any given topic exclusively or almost exclusively in Russian. Conversational fluidity and audio-processing are often some of the most important skills in language-learning, and oftentimes, as a natural result of class sizes, students lack real opportunities to try out speaking for extended periods of time.
Fluidity in target-language conversation marks the intersection of many of the essential skills of language-learning, including grammatical understanding, consistent pronunciation, thinking on one's feet, and a willingness to make mistakes. These are all things that are best learned in practice!
Masks will be required for in-person lessons held indoors. If held outdoors, masks will be optional.
