About Kayla
I have worked in addictions counseling settings, correctional settings, and mental health settings with both adolescents and adults with diverse backgrounds and learning styles. I have a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and am two classes away from my Master of Psychology and Addictions Counseling.
Before I was ever where I am today, I had my own struggles. Mental health, substance abuse, etc. Through my struggles I have gained an unmatched level of empathy, resilience, and a positive attitude.

I will meet you where you are at mentally, emotionally,etc. I’m creative and think outside of the box. I have ample experience educating students of diverse backgrounds as well as counseling (mental health and substance abuse. I am an excellent motivator and provide more than just academic excellence. Excellent communication filled with empathy, compassion, experience, education, and a desire to be for other whom I needed when I was struggling.
