About Matija
I am a Biochemistry student at Imperial College London with a passion for life science. I completed my A-levels with 5 A*s and received a scholarship to study in the UK based on my academic awards and national prizes back in Serbia. I'm very enthusiastic about biology and chemistry and I know lots of useful exam tricks for GCSEs/A-levels which I hope to pass on to my students. In addition, having won the national Physics Olympiad in Serbia, I'm pretty confident with my Maths and Physics and am more than happy to help students who are struggling!

My approach is very personalised and relaxed and I try to make the student enthusiastic about the subject rather than intimidated by it. Apart from simply teaching the content, I wish to show the students how to learn more efficiently on the whole, which is a larger part of getting excellent grades than many think. With tricks such as spaced repetition, regular active recall of the material and incremental reading, I can help the student make the most out of his/her time in addition to explaining the conceptual basis of the topics I cover.
