About Hoi na
I am a graduate of the Liberal Studies department from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2009. After graduation, I taught Chinese to secondary school students in Hong Kong for 1 year, primary school students for 1 year, and kindergarten children for writing and Mandarin for 1.5 years. I am familiar with both simplified and traditional Chinese characters. Subsequently, I studied Classical Chinese Translation at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David's for three years, and began teaching Chinese courses on online platforms in 2022.

With two years of online teaching experience and three and a half years of teaching Mandarin and traditional Chinese in Hong Kong schools, I'm here to assist you in your language journey. I typically use two textbooks, "Cantonese Tutorial" and "Cantonese for Everyone,". For beginners, I recommend starting with the books to learn pronunciation and sentence patterns, and build up a certain vocabulary. After that, you can begin practicing free conversation. Or if you have specific needs, such as wanting to learn how to educate your children in Cantonese or how to argue with your boyfriend in Cantonese, we can start learning from topics you're interested in. I apologize, but I reside in China, and I'm unable to select the correct address within the system. I currently only accept online students. Thank you.
