About Cassandra
I am a recent SDSU graduate with a passion for math and 8+ years of experience with tutoring K-12 and beyond. I care about the "why"s in math and focus on concepts so that my students can feel like they really understand the material--I love when I am able to see a student have that moment where something "clicks"! I get along great with my students as I am very patient and keep a positive, encouraging attitude.

I have tutored a wide range of students of all ages and levels and am flexible about what your lesson plan would look like. I like to emphasize concepts and meet my students where they are so that they can feel comfortable with the material. Some of my favorite things to teach are Algebra and Discrete mathematics. I can also help with:
