About Claudia
I started teaching two years ago. I have treated children from 4 to 12 years old. I am bilingual, born here in Barcelona but with an English mother. I graduated from the American School of Barcelona last June 2017, all my education from elementary to high school has been in English.

The base of learning a language with me is creating a bond and a safe space where students can feel comfortable during the class. I like to work English in everyday contexts in order to develop the language in a natural and intuitive way.
My methodology is based on four steps in order to accompany the student as he learns. The first thing is learning to listen to a new language, the next step is comprehending it, after that comes speaking the language and our final step is practicing how to read and write it.
It is obvious that no class is ever the same as the other. That is why I find it essential to adapt to the needs of the students, whether the need is to work on the student's comprehension and speech or to serve as an aid for academic works.
Luckily, I have been speaking English practically since I was born. My mother is native and I studied at an English-speaking school. Now I am studying the degree of "Tourism and Hospitality Management" in English, since it is the language I feel more comfortable learning with.
I have about 5 years of experience teaching children from 4 to 16 years old. I recently just started offering my classes online due to our current pandemic, but, as I mentioned before I am free to do face-to-face lessons too.
