About Melody

Hello, I’m Melody, the founder of Tang Tutoring, a premium online tutoring service supporting KS3, GCSE and A-Level Biology students.

With over 10 years of tutoring experience, I have supported students across a wide range of abilities to build confidence, strengthen understanding, and approach exams with greater clarity and consistency. Our focus is on structured teaching that develops genuine understanding and strong exam technique.

Tang Tutoring works with a small, carefully trained team of tutors. Students are matched with the tutor best suited to their level and learning style, while I oversee lesson quality, planning, and progress to ensure a consistent standard across the service.

I personally oversee:

• Learning gap analysis
• Revision strategies
• Parent communication and updates

This ensures every student receives high-quality, reliable support, with continuity for families and flexibility in scheduling.

Our teaching style is clear, structured, and confidence-building. Topics are broken down step by step, then reinforced through exam-style questions, active recall, and structured practice. Students follow a personalised learning plan with clear next steps after every lesson.

We support students at KS3, GCSE and A-Level, working best with families seeking ongoing, weekly tuition.

About the lesson

Lessons focus on clarity, confidence, and genuine understanding.

We begin by identifying any gaps or misconceptions, then work through topics step by step with clear explanations. Emphasis is placed on understanding why concepts work, helping students apply knowledge independently rather than relying on memorisation.

Once foundations are secure, students practise using guided examples and exam-style questions to build exam familiarity and confidence. Homework and practice tasks may be recommended to support progress between lessons.

Lessons are delivered online and are structured as regular weekly sessions, which allows progress to build steadily over time.

The free initial session is a structured consultation with parents and students to discuss goals, assess learning needs, and agree on a clear plan moving forward.
