About Margarita

Originally from Latvia, I lived in the UK for almost 15 years. I first studied architecture and having worked in the field for a little while, I understood that I needed something else. I always loved wine and I wanted to learn more about it. So I completed WSET level 2 and joined my current job, part-time at first. Having completed Level 3, I progressed to the managerial position. I found a passion for teaching, and want to share my love for wine. I’m now preparing for the Wine Diploma. Having been in the wine business for 7+ years now, where I’ve worked with wine professionals, suppliers, and producers, plus travelling, and working on the Italian vineyards, has helped me gain in-depth knowledge of winemaking and wine business which I would love to share.

About the lesson

I’ve held trainings with businesses helping the staff get understanding about wine. I’ve also led numerous wine tastings in the UK and abroad, which helped me discover various techniques that help people understand the wine better. My approach is simple: I will explain to you wine how I would like quantum physics explained to me! I will work around your needs with a system that works for you. We will cover grape growing, winemaking, tasting, serving, and more!
