About Arabella

I am currently in my final year of taking Maths and Further Maths A Level alongside 2 further A Level subjects - Chemistry and Economics - at Stowe School. I have secured a a Grade 9 in Maths GCSE and am predicted 4 A* for my A Levels. I am really enjoying all my A level choices and have loved the process of supporting and guiding my classmates to really understand the mathematical content in their Maths syllabus. I am proven to be patient and highly knowledgeable and my aim is for them to achieve the best grade possible in their upcoming exams.
I am on track at the moment to study chemistry at the University of Oxford in 2026 and I am an offer holder.
Tutoring at my school has been great and I am very confident with teaching maths at the level described.

About the lesson

I have been tutoring maths and economics A level in person for the last few months and have experience acting as a maths teaching assistant at my college from last year.
I am only offering tutoring up to GCSE in maths at the moment to ensure I am completely confident with all the different specifications.

Arabella helped my daughter achieve an 8 in her maths GCSE. She is a thoughtful and kind tutor, who broke down the subject methodically and has an exceptional range of knowledge. Not only is she highly professional, but also a genuinely talented and intelligent person. She helped my daughter overcome her anxiety around maths and ultimately raised her grade from a 4 to a 7. Could not recommend her enough!

Arabella is a delightful girl and wonderful tutor to my daughter, Cynthia - she has been so incredibly helpful and supportive with Cynthia’s maths as she often struggles with focusing, but Arabella’s methods and good humour have proven invaluably useful. Thank you so much for all your help, Arabella!
