About Paula
I've probably taught 75 or more students over several decades. Some now play for events and have studied music in college. I play for worship service each Sunday, my Sunday School students' singing time, weddings, funerals, accompany ensembles and soloists for competitions.

-I'm a warm encourager, but will also gently tell you what needs improvement and explain or demonstrate how to do that.
-You and I will have the same books, so that we can 'be on the same page' literally!
-I teach beginners through advanced students, age 7 to adult in 45-minute lessons.
-Understanding the mechanics of music enhances your enjoyment and ability to become an independent learner so I include some theory and ear training in your lesson. This is not a pressure-filled study unless you specify that you'd like to emphasize this part. It helps your ability to learn a new instrument or with singing, too.
-After your lesson, I'll write your assignment as an email message.

I teach a 45-minute lesson for $20. If I travel to you, then I'll adjust the rate according to the distance I travel.
