About Laura
I am a professional flautist holding a tenured position as assistant solo flute with a European symphony orchestra, (Orquesta Simfònica de Illes Balears, Spain) with extensive experience as both an orchestral musician and flute teacher.
I hold two Master’s degrees in Flute Performance (Sibelius Academy, Helsinki and Conservatori Superior del Liceu, Barcelona) and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Pedagogy (Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, Finland). I have over ten years of teaching experience, having worked with students of different ages and levels in Spain and Finland.
Teaching is a very important part of my musical life. I aim to help students develop solid technique, musical understanding and confidence in a clear, structured and efficient way.

My lessons are fully tailored to each student, depending on their goals, level and musical background. I can help you with:
• Flute technique (sound production, breathing, articulation, flexibility)

• Efficient practice strategies and long-term progress
• Performance preparation and mental focus
I regularly work with students preparing auditions for European orchestras and conservatoires.
When helpful, I also integrate elements of Alexander Technique, Feldenkrais Method and mindfulness, especially to address posture, tension and performance anxiety.
