About Ailani
I have grown up always knowing that I would be a lifelong learner. I even remember being so sad in year 2 when we were told that we were not going to be assigned homework and in year 3 when I spent all of my pocket money on year 5 NAPLAN prep books (yes I was that annoying kid). Now I can recognise that this, along with my passion for STEM, has led me to want a career in the medical field.
It was not until I entered my medical degree, that I realised that another factor that drew me to the field was the fact that not only would I always be a student, but also a teacher. Overall, tutoring is something that I deeply enjoy as I am not only able to help tailor my teaching to any student’s needs (often in ways unavailable from conventional education sources) to help them succeed but also relay my passion for the subjects I teach. It is my ultimate goal to help my students become lifelong learners themselves, by helping them find their passions that can direct them to future endeavors.
As I am passionate about learning myself, a long-term goal of mine is to have a very diverse career including medical education, research, and clinical practice. At the moment I am particularly interested in rural medicine as being from a rural background, I have seen firsthand many different inequities in not only medical care but also education.

I am a current Bachelor of Medical Studies, Doctor of Medicine student at the University of Adelaide and am offering tutoring/ drafting for the SACE subjects listed below, as well as middle school science. In all subjects listed, I have high-quality notes available that have been successfully used by other students in the past. Now, with 3+ years of tutoring experience with both struggling, high-achieving, and students with learning disabilities, I am an adaptable teacher who can cater to any learning style.
I am also open to students wanting consultancy on medicine entry to Adelaide uni (high school leavers & tertiary transfer) and UCAT tutoring. I currently also work within the uni so have a unique insight into the process. All subjects listed are below.
