About Alexa
As a solution-oriented individual, I believe the future of our planet is the responsibility of us all.
Whether it be teaching young minds to be more aware of the effect they have on the planet through their everyday choices, campaigning for the reform of policies dictating the treatment of the environment, or writing really convincing copy, my goal is to bring the world into a more sustainable and bright future full of the wonderful diversity that makes living worthwhile.
I got into teaching because, just as the great Paolo Freire once said, "education is politics". I cast my vote by filling future minds with content that helps them to decide how to make a world that is better for everyone in it. I look forward to teaching you as well :)

I take an active inquiry approach to instruction the develop content through project creation. Lessons are focused on developing a topic to completion, learning all relevant vocabulary and concepts through the inquiry of methods to complete a given project.
Experienced in all ages.
Lessons can vary between 30 minutes to 1 hour.
