About Emma
I am a certified educator with over 30 years of teaching experience! I have taught grades Pk - 5th in the public school system. I also taught English as a Second Language (ESL) to students and adults abroad.I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and a Master's degree in Educational Administration.

My teaching method is to reach the student where he/she is and move forward. I use visual aids and props to make the lessons come alive. Reading is an essential part of life. Not all students are natural born readers. Some students require extra assistance. I will develop a personalized reading plan for your child.I will focus on reading and math strategies to increase reading comprehension, which is a must to tackle math word problems.
