About Sophie

I taught Drama at an outstanding school until July 2023. I now work in learning and development and my “students” are adult workers. Although I enjoy this different working environment, I miss teaching Drama. That brings me here! Drama is my passion and it’s where my expertise lie. Have you been to see a show? I want to hear all about it! Are you working on your GCSE performance? I can’t wait to hear your ideas. Are you finding the written work more difficult than you thought? Let me teach you the formula for success and soon, maybe, you’ll even love it like I do! Whether you’re a true thespian or you’ve fallen out of love with Drama, one thing is for sure, there is nothing like that feeling when you come off the stage, or you come out of that exam, and you’ve smashed it. That’s just as special for me as your tutor as it is for you.

About the lesson

I have a bachelor's degree in Drama and Theatre, and a Diploma in Education. I have taught in outstanding schools for 6 years, and have directed 5 shows in that time. Sessions will be tailored to the needs of the individual. I would recommend one-hour sessions for maximum progress, particularly for written work.
