About Grace
I am a passionate and experienced science educator hailing from the beautiful town of Sligo in West Ireland. With a strong background in teaching Key Stage 3 (KS3), GCSE, and A-Level science, I bring over ten years of expertise to the classroom, helping students excel in their studies and develop a deep appreciation for the sciences.
Growing up in Sligo, surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the West of Ireland, I developed a love for the natural world, which inspired my pursuit of a career in science education. This connection to nature also fuels my personal hobbies—when I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me exploring the great outdoors through hiking or unwinding with a session of Pilates. I’m also an avid traveler, always eager to discover new places and cultures, which often brings fresh perspectives to my teaching.
My teaching philosophy is centered around making science engaging and relatable. I strive to create an interactive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring scientific concepts in depth. Over the years, I have guided many students through the complexities of GCSE and A-Level science, helping them achieve excellent results and build confidence in their abilities.
In addition to my classroom teaching, I am committed to lifelong learning and professional development, regularly updating my skills and knowledge to stay at the forefront of science education. My goal is to not only help students achieve academic success but also to inspire them to explore the world around them with a scientific lens.

With over a decade of teaching experience, I am a dedicated and passionate science educator specializing in Key Stage 3 (KS3), GCSE, and A-Level curriculums. My teaching journey began ten years ago, and since then, I have developed a deep understanding of how to engage students of all abilities, helping them to achieve their full potential in science.
Throughout my career, I have successfully prepared numerous students for their GCSE and A-Level exams, with many achieving top grades. My expertise spans across all three sciences—Biology, Chemistry, and Physics—allowing me to offer comprehensive support across the entire spectrum of the science curriculum.
I am also adept at using a variety of teaching tools and techniques, including interactive experiments, real-life applications, and technology-enhanced learning, to make science accessible and exciting. My goal is not only to help students excel academically but also to foster a deeper understanding of the subject matter that extends beyond the classroom.
