About Chianna

I have been teaching privately for over four years, and have been playing music for over 15 years. While working toward a Bachelors in Performance, I currently teach students of all ages at a private music company. During that time, I perform at private, public and corporate functions.

I believe in patience, persistency, and passion with music and that each person has their own individual of developing and nurturing that passion.

Through my years of teaching, I have helped students develop their own compositions, win competitions, prepare and become accepted into musical programs, and help them learn the next piece for their family gathering. Specialization in classical, Celtic, folk, and modern music, I strive for people to indulge themselves in the magnificence of music and reap the benefits of being involved with the arts.

About the lesson

As a teacher, I strive to teach people with the hope of giving them the skills and knowledge they desire, but also to nurture the importance and love of music.

I believe music is a universal language that can convey any thought or idea, and bring people together, so I believe in teaching people at a pace and a method that they are confident and comfortable with.

With my lessons geared toward beginners to intermediate, the foundations of piano and music, which include theory, are always presented first. Then once the student's learning method is determined, then lesson books, techniques, exercises, and pieces will be incorporated accordingly. Composition and creative works will also be encouraged.

What sets me apart from other tutors is that I aspire to help people learn music due to my passion for music. I believe in patience, persistency, and passion and strive to help others achieve that through music.

She teaches the student the background of the piece of music they are learning to give the ability to feel the music . She is very patient and takes her time to understand the students ability. She makes up games for the younger children to learn the notes and enjoy learning pieces music. Her knowledge of classical music is extensive.
