About Angelica

For me, learning French has been about so much more than just studying a subject, it’s opened doors to new cultures, friendships, and ways of thinking. Being able to communicate in another language has allowed me to connect with people I could have never spoken to otherwise, and it’s given me a real appreciation for seeing the world from different perspectives. I’d love to help others experience that same sense of connection and confidence. Whether you’re learning French for school, travel, or just personal interest, I can make lessons engaging, practical, and tailored to your goals.

About the lesson

As someone who struggled with French before studying at a language school in France, I understand how frustrating traditional methods can be. That’s why my lessons are tailored to you, whether you're preparing for exams, trying to get more confident speaking, or just want to finally “get” French grammar. I mix conversation, listening, and grammar support, all with real-life examples (and without boring you to tears). I also love breaking things down in ways that actually stick — using techniques I wish I’d had when I first started learning. I also incorporate music into my lessons because, let's face it, learning French through your favourite songs is way more fun and memorable than textbook drills! Lessons are typically 50 minutes, however I can alter this, depending on what works best for you. I’m happy to tutor teens and students from beginner to intermediate level (A1 to B1) — especially those who feel like French just isn’t clicking (yet). I studied at a French language school for five months and hold a diploma certifying me at B1/B2 level, so I know what it's like to learn fast, under pressure, and in an immersive environment. Whether you're struggling with tenses, want to improve pronunciation, or just want to feel more confident in class — I'm here to help.
