About Aaron
Aaron Moore was hired to join the San Jose State Spartan softball program as an assistant coach in September 2024. Moore enters his first season in San Jose after spending two seasons at Trinity Christian as the assistant coach responsible for hitting for the Trolls. Prior to Trinity, Moore spent seven seasons as the head coach at Roosevelt University (Ill.) and Morton College (Ill.). While at Roosevelt (2017-21), Moore led the Lakers to double-digit win totals in each season, including a program-record 37 wins in 2021. In 2021, Moore and his coaching staff were named Coaching Staff of the Year by the CCAC. During Moore’s second season at the helm for Morton (2022-23), the Panthers recorded their highest win total in nearly 20 seasons. Moore has additional coaching experience on the travel ball and high school scene as well, where he has collected more than 500 career wins as a head coach. During his time in Illinois, he has coached with the Stateline Fury, Rosemont Bandits and The Mill Fastpitch travel organizations. Moore, 43, graduated with a degree in Mass Communications from Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2003.
