About Zuha

I am an Experimental Psychology graduate from the University of Oxford with a passion for supporting students to achieve their academic goals. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience tutoring and mentoring students across a range of educational stages, from primary school pupils to prospective Oxbridge applicants.

I have supported students throughout the Psychology admissions process by providing detailed personal statement guidance, conducting realistic mock interviews and mentoring applicants through every stage of their application. The students I have supported have gone on to receive Oxford offers.

Having experienced the Oxbridge admissions process myself, I understand both the academic and personal challenges applicants face. My background in psychology has also given me a strong understanding of how students learn and develop confidence, allowing me to tailor my support to each individual's needs.

My goal is to help students develop the analytical thinking, confidence and communication skills needed to succeed throughout the Oxbridge admissions process.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed for students applying to study Psychology at Oxford or Cambridge, whether they are at the start of the application process or preparing for interviews. Sessions are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged if needed.

I provide detailed guidance and proofreading for personal statements, helping students showcase their academic curiosity, motivation and suitability for studying Psychology at Oxbridge. Drawing on my own successful application and experience supporting applicants who went on to receive Oxford offers, I advise students on how to produce a compelling and authentic personal statement that reflects the qualities admissions tutors value.

I also offer realistic mock interviews that closely mirror the Oxbridge interview experience. I have designed my mock interviews through extensive research into the admissions process and discussions with Oxford tutors, ensuring the style and level of challenge closely reflect real interviews. Following each session, students receive detailed feedback on their reasoning, communication and interview technique, along with practical advice for improvement.

Where relevant, I also provide preparation for admissions tests, working through practice questions, discussing effective strategies and identifying areas for improvement. My aim is to build students' confidence, strengthen their critical thinking and ensure they feel well prepared for every stage of the Oxbridge admissions process.
