About Eleanor
I graduated from the University of Oxford in 2018 and since then I've been tutoring English and Music to students of all ages and abilities. I have worked with KS2, KS3, GCSE and A level students, providing them with a wide-ranging subject knowledge while demystifying exam procedures and helping students to become academically self-sufficient. My students have an excellent success rate, and many of my older students have gone on to study at Oxbridge and other Russell Group universities. I hold a Master's degree from the Royal Academy of Music, and tutor Music at GCSE, A Level, and University level. I also teach Music theory and the flute from beginner to advanced levels. I am a kind, patient and methodical tutor, and my key aim is to ensure that under-confident pupils can gain better understanding and enjoyment of their subject. Eleanor was an incredibly patient and helpful tutor. She assisted me with my university admissions and a level prep essays , making me feel much more confident entering into my exams and the application process for universities. She also had lots of advice for preparing for interviews!
I would highly recommend Eleanor as a tutor to any aspiring flute player. She made sure to consistently nurture technical facets of flute playing, whilst never losing sight of musical considerations, making her lessons a truly enriching experience. I could not have got through my grade 8 flute exam nor enjoyed it so much without her!
